🌟 Legacy in Leadership Scholarship 🌟

Mission:
The Legacy of Leadership Scholarship is an extension of 757 We Care’s commitment to empowering youth through mentorship, education, and purpose-driven impact. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving high school senior or college freshman from Hampton Roads who embodies the values of leadership, community service, resilience, and a desire to give back.

This scholarship is designed to not only support the academic goals of our youth but to honor those who reflect the spirit of 757 We Care young leaders who are ready to shape their communities and the world.

Applicants must:

• Be a high school senior or college freshman residing in Hampton Roads
• Be an active participant in 757 We Care programs OR be nominated by a 757 We Care mentor, board member, or partner organization
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Demonstrate financial need
• Show involvement in community service, extracurricular activities, or leadership roles
• Submit a completed application, transcript, and one recommendation letter

• Completed online or printed application
• 500-word essay answering:
  “How have you used leadership and purpose to overcome challenges and uplift others?”
• One letter of recommendation (teacher, mentor, community leader, etc.)
• Official transcript or most recent report card
• Proof of acceptance or enrollment at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or trade school
